National Science Foundation response to EPSCOR Evaluation
The direct involvement of the evaluation consulting team in monthly leadership meetings and the thoroughness of the yearly evaluation reports were project elements that were appreciated by the panel. All aspects of the project were appropriately surveyed, monitored, evaluated, and analyzed by the consulting and the leadership teams.

NSF EPSCoR Recipient
LEAP Consulting were the external evaluators for the South Dakota Track 1 NSF ESPCOR award which recently ended. During that time LEAP were excellent partners in ensuring our activities continued to improve during the course of the award. Elizabeth and her staff were always present at leadership meetings and contributed original ideas, tailored to meet our unique needs, while positively interacting with others to put their ideas into action. LEAP always provided timely, thorough reports for all necessary summary reports to the funder. LEAP energetically worked with all group leaders to ensure that useful feedback was solicitated for award activities and ensured we maximized the number of participants who responded to the survey requests (which is often difficult). I was always impressed with the creativity and flexibility of Elizabeth and her staff to identify novel solutions to our needs and quickly develop and implement solutions. Also when the award ended but was granted a no-cost extension, Elizabeth and staff continued to be highly effective, creative team members and provided well-written, concise reports until the grant ended completely. I have and will continue to refer other researchers to LEAP as I know they will be very satisfied with the service.
